Payment and Shipping |

Urban Pets ships worldwide via Canada Post Expedited Delivery or FedEx and offers flat rate shipping on all orders.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Check/Debit cards with a VISA or MasterCard logo and PayPal, all amounts are in Canadian dollars.
The standard delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks for in-stock, non-serviced items.
We do our best to have your order to you within 14 days but please note that Urban Pets has no control over delivery day or delivery time, once the parcel is turned over to the carrier.

Orders usually ship via Canada Post Expedited Delivery. If FedEx shipping is selected we ask that our customers please provide shipping addresses that can accept courier shipments (no PO Boxes or APO addresses).
Special orders and orders shipped direct from manufacturers require 4-6 weeks. |

For your protection, items shipped directly from Urban Pets are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Delivery or FedEx. If you will not be at your shipping location to sign for your package, we suggest you have your packaged shipped to your workplace, a business, or another location where someone can sign for your package. Please understand that Urban Pets cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of packages delivered without a signature. When an order is considered lost by Canada Post or FedEx, according to their terms, we will either reimburse or replace the items. |

Occasionally Urban Pets will ask our manufacturer to ship directly to you. In this case you will be notified of an approximate ship date which may vary. Should you have any questions regarding the delivery of such an item, please contact Urban Pets directly.

If additional charges are needed for oversized items or heavy weight items we will contact you for your permission to charge your card for the additional shipping charges. |

United States Orders: |

Urban Pets ships to the US from Canada by Canada Post Expedited Delivery or FedEx. Our US shipping charges are a fair approximation, and in some cases if additional charges are needed we will contact you for your permission to charge your card for the additional shipping charges. |

US customers are responsible for any customs charges. When ordering from outside of Canada, please be sure all address information on your order is complete and correct.
We will ship via FedEx upon request but please understand that these orders will incur a $10 handling fee. FedEx shipping costs are determined according to weight, volume and distance.

International Shipments (outside North America): |

Urban Pets can deliver to any international destination. All International orders are shipped Canada Post Small Packet International Air or FedEx International and require an additional $10.00 per order. Delivery time is approximately 2-4 weeks. Our International shipping charges are a fair approximation, and in some cases if additional charges are needed we will contact you for your permission to charge your card for the additional shipping charges. |

We are sorry but we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of packages once they are shipped to an international destination. Customers are responsible for any Customs charges. When ordering from outside Canada, please be sure all address information on your order is complete and correct. |

Damaged Items and Lost Packages: |
|

Most packages reach their destination without incident but if an item is lost or damaged, please contact Urban Pets. If the box appears damaged upon receipt, do not sign for, or accept it and it will be returned to us. We will send an exchange or credit you for the item. You must contact Urban Pets within 45 days of order placement if your item has not arrived, Urban Pets will not be held responsible for notifications after that time. |

Undeliverable Parcels: |

Any parcel returned for the following reasons; Refused, Unclaimed, Invalid Address, Unknown Address, or Insufficient Address will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee of the entire purchase price, less shipping fees; shipping/Insurance, packaging, handling and postage fees will not be refunded. |

Sales Tax: |

All Canadian customers are required to pay 6% GST.
All BC residents are required to pay 6% GST and 7% PST.
US and International orders do not pay any sales tax.
